Summer

I think that should be a 'nuff said excuse for my lack in posting.  Summer.  Garden is in full swing.  Very little time is being spent on the inside of the house.  Spent my Sunday preparing as many dishes as I could think of with the gorgeous garden bounty.  Girls and I are especially loving the berries this year, while Allen is always happy to have endless supplies of fresh peppers to accompany his meals.

Hooky time

Excited to be working on a new project. Getting beach ready for when the girls and I leave Farmer Allen for some sun and sand.

When we bought our farm it was the last remaining portion of the Gryder farm, and thus we were "Becoming Gryder".  Over the last seven plus years our lives have changed so much - we brought three babies home from the hospital and have watched them grow into little girls.  We have seen cows come and go.  We have both laughed at and learned from our mistakes.  We have planted a truffle tree orchard.  We have eaten pigs we raised.  And we have realized that we are no longer on Gryder land - we have become baker farm.
